Q?

How do I send my product to the Australian Polar Service Centre?

A.

CURRENT SERVICING TURNAROUND IS APPROXIMATELY 2 to 3 WORKING DAYS FROM RECEIVING THE REPAIR

  • Include all parts of the Polar product (e.g. transmitter with its belt and the training computer) and pack carefully to avoid damage during transit.
  • If the product is under warranty, please note that Fitness Maintenance is no longer conducting any warranty repairs. All customers need to contact Polar directly at supportaustralia@polar.com

  • Any Warranty repairs returned to us will incur a charge of $18.50 to cover the cost of labour and return freight of goods back to the customer (unrepaired).

  • Include a precise detailed description of the problem (you can download and use the service form).
  • Include your name, return address, and daily contact telephone number (please also write on the outside of the bag).
  • Non acceptance of a quote will incur a charge of $18.50 to cover labour and return freight of goods back to customer.
  • Note. Items sent in for repair will only be held for 1 month after all attempts to contact the sender for a repair decision have failed.

For reasons of health and hygiene, please ensure that your Polar equipment is clean and dry prior to sending it in for servicing or repair. Any products deemed not to be clean and/or dry will be returned to you.

For shipping to Fitness Maintenance we recommend using:

Australia Post Express Satchel with your Sender Details CLEARLY PRINTED on the outside of the bag.
Please ensure that the contents are well protected and retain the removable label for your reference should tracking (13 13 18) be required from Australia Post.
Please read the Australia Post Service Conditions on the back of the bag.

Q?

Battery replacement

A.

Some Polar products have a user replaceable battery. Please refer to the product user manual for instructions.

If changing the battery yourself, please replace with care and do not damage the sealing ring to ensure moisture resistance of the product.

However we recommend to return your Polar product to the Polar Australian Service Centre for a battery change (especially during the warranty period).
Full periodic and water resistance checks are performed by the service centre with every battery change.

Polar recycles batteries as part of our commitment to the preservation of the environment. When changing the battery yourself, please follow your local recycling regulations for safe disposal.
